Wholesale Propane Supplier Renews Reifers Sponsorship and Adds Rookie Wilson
West Orange, NJ, February 26, 2010 – Texas Liquids Partners, LLC (Texas Liquids) has renewed its sponsorship of Kyle Reifers and has added Chris Wilson to its list of PGA-sponsored professional golfers.
Kyle has been part of the Texas Liquids family since May 2007, playing on both the PGA and Nationwide Tours, displaying the Texas Liquids logo on his hat and shirt. “This is our third year with Kyle, and we are proud that he has agreed to continue to include Texas Liquids on his team. We are committed to contributing to Kyle's future success and look forward to an exciting year”, said CEO and President, Bill Hoatson. Hoatson adds, “Our partnership with Kyle has provided Texas Liquids with increased exposure in the national media, proudly displaying our logo”.
A native of Dublin, Ohio, Kyle graduated from Wake Forest in 2006 as one of the top collegiate players in the country. He played on and significantly contributed to the 2005 U.S. Walker Cup Team for Captain Bob Lewis. Kyle also realized instant professional success, winning the first two professional tournaments he played, including beating Brandt Snedeker in a playoff at the Chattanooga Classic in 2006.
“Texas Liquids has watched Kyle grow professionally over the last three years, and we believe that this is Kyle's break out year”, adds COO, Steve Montovano. Reifers begins his 2010 season in Panama City, on February 25th at The Panama Claro Championship.
Reifers adds, “Texas Liquids has stood by me through thick and thin and I am lucky to have such great people on my team. I look forward to continuing this relationship for many years to come.”
In addition to the Reifers sponsorship extension, Texas Liquids is proud to announce the addition of Chris Wilson to its family. Wilson, also a native of Dublin, Ohio, qualified for the 2010 PGA Tour through Q School, finishing an impressive 12 th in the prestigious top 25, at golf's most grueling and competitive test. “Chris has competed on various pro development tours during the past several years. We are excited to partner with another young golfer and, hopefully, help in the development of his career”, said COO Montovano. “Chris played extremely well at Q School, and I believe he will experience success at golf's highest level”. “I am proud that Chris has added Texas Liquids to his team, and wish him well in his rookie season on the PGA Tour”, adds CEO Hoatson. Wilson will display the Texas Liquids logo on the left sleeve of his shirt.
Wilson graduated from Northwestern University in 2007. His accomplishments include the 2006 Big Ten Individual and Team Big 10 Champion, the 2005 Ohio Amateur Champion, as well as winning in 2009 on the Hooters Tour Winter Series at the Stoneybrook West GC. He is the recipient of many collegiate awards, including receiving the 2007 Big Ten Medal of Honor, and was a 2007 Byron Nelson Award Finalist. Chris also received the 2007 Director's Award for graduating with the highest GPA among male student athletes.
According to Wilson, “I am really excited about my rookie season on the PGA Tour and having Texas Liquids be a part makes it even more special”. “The Texas Liquids family is proud of Kyle's and Chris' accomplishments in their collegiate and professional careers, and is confident in their continued success.
